About

I live with my family in Chicago and my day job is financing investment real estate for a major U.S. bank. I interact every day with private real estate investors learning about what what drives their investment decisions and sharing what I know about banking and the commercial real estate lending markets. Since my professional life revolves around real estate and making loans, I decided to call my blog Real Estate Interest.  I hope I can share some of my insights and learn from others that share an interest in commercial real estate.  I hope my blog doesn’t become just about lending (not that much of that is happening right now), so please feel free to comment and let me know where your interests may lie.  The real estate world is far from being an exact science, so I welcome all levels of discussion to my blog.  Cheers.
